Hannah Levitan, originally from northern Virginia, is a rising senior at Tulane University double-majoring in history and communications with a strategy, leadership and analytics minor. She is also pursuing the Gender-Based Violence certificate. Last spring, Levitan served as news editor and is transitioning to digital director for the student newspaper, The Hullabaloo. Throughout her time as a student journalist, she has covered a variety of topics, from reporting on instances of sexual misconduct on campus to amplifying voices of New Orleans’ marginalized communities. Levitan is interested in documentary film and digital storytelling.
