The annual DOUBLE EXPOSURE investigative film festival, to be held virtually this year from Oct. 14-18, will showcase a dozen new investigative films, more than 30 panels, workshops and master classes. The opening conversation will feature Nikole Hannah-Jones, Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and creator of the landmark 1619 Project.

Other speakers include Pulitzer Prize-winner Lawrence Wright, author of “The End of October;” Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney on his new HBO documentary “Agents of Chaos,” a product of years of reporting on Russian interference in the 2016 election; and Maria Ressa, co-founder of Rappler, the news site leading the fight for press freedom in the Philippines, and subject of the new documentary “A Thousand Cuts,” directed by Ramona Diaz. The full festival schedule is now here.
