There are more than 100 nonprofit news organizations outside of the United States and around the world, and the Investigative Reporting Workshop identified 27 of them as publishers of investigative stories for the purposes of this report. (We did not includes groups that are associations or that focus on training.) The map shows where they are and gives more details about each; zoom in closer for multiple centers in some cities.
