Kaiser Health News (KHN) is a nonprofit news organization committed to in-depth coverage of health care policy and politics. KHN is an editorially independent news service covering health policy and politics. Our goal is to provide high-quality coverage of developments in Congress, the administration, the states, the marketplace and the health care delivery system. KHN is a major program of the Kaiser Family Foundation, a nonprofit private operating foundation, based in Menlo Park, Calif., dedicated to producing and communicating the best possible analysis and information on health issues. Funding and strategic guidance for KHN comes from the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation. KHN also accepts outside funding and has received one grant of $600,000 from the SCAN Foundation.
