Economy still has long way to go

The April unemployment numbers came out today, and the headline news is that unemployment crept up from 9.7% to 9.9% - despite the creation of 290,000 new jobs.
As always, though, my interest lies in another piece of the data set released monthly by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. I like the A-15 and A-16 tables, which track people not in the labor force.
