The award-winning documentary we co-produced in 2010 with FRONTLINE, Flying Cheap, will be re-broadcast on Nov. 29 on PBS. The program focused on Continental Flight 3407, which crashed on approach to the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport in 2009. Our reporting revealed a little-known trend in the airline industry at the time: Regional airlines account for more than half of all scheduled domestic flights in the United States, and they also are responsible for the last six fatal domestic, commercial airline accidents.

Cecilia Munoz, a former, longtime immigration-rights activist, continues to be targeted by Hispanic activists over her defense of the Obama administration's stepped-up deportation of illegal immigrants. The Washington Post reports today that families of immigrants are preparing to confront Munoz, now the director of intergovernmental affairs, Thursday in Phoenix, where she is scheduled to speak at a National League of Cities event.
Munoz was interviewed in the Workshop and FRONTLINE's co-production of the documentary "Lost in Detention" in October, during which she strongly defended the president's policies.
